Yard Pass
$1.95 / month
or $19.50 a year. Cancel any time; a cancelled Pass runs to the end of the time paid for.
- All nine drills, including back into a slip, between two boats, the fairway turn, the mooring, the crosswind slip and the fuel dock in a current
- All four boats: 20 ft outboard, 24 ft sterndrive, 30 ft single inboard, 34 ft twin inboard with two levers
- Your own conditions on any drill: wind 0-20 knots from eight directions, current 0-2 knots. Strong settings with the bigger boats can make a drill very hard; the site's tests show every drill can be done at its own settings with at least one boat, and every boat on several drills (how we check)
- A logbook of 2,000 runs, a printable logbook card and a CSV export
Free during preview. There is no checkout yet, so there is no button to pay. When checkout opens, PayPal will take the payment and the Pass will be marked on a private pass key, not an account.
Straight answers
What do I get that is not free? Six more drills, three more boats, wind and current you set yourself, a larger logbook, the printable card and CSV.
Is there a free trial that turns into a charge? No. Free stays free, and the Pass is only charged when you choose it.
What happens to my logbook if I stop paying? Nothing is deleted because you stopped paying. Runs you saved stay in the logbook and you keep playing the three free drills. Any logbook, paid or free, is deleted if it goes unopened for 400 days (see Privacy).
Is this a boating course? No. It is a practice game with simplified physics. It does not count toward any boating certificate or state requirement.
