What Helmyard is

A practice game. The boat model is simplified and does not behave exactly like any real boat. Helmyard does not teach you to drive a boat, does not replace a boating safety course or hands-on instruction, and does not meet any licence, certificate or state requirement. Do not rely on it for decisions on the water.

Scores and logbooks

Scores measure runs in this game only. Logbooks are kept as described on the privacy page; keep your link safe, because anyone with it can open, change and delete the logbook. We do not guarantee that any data will be kept, so export what you want to keep.

The Yard Pass

Prices are shown on the pricing page. During the preview nothing is charged and the Pass features are open to everyone. When checkout opens, a monthly Pass renews each month and an annual Pass each year until cancelled; a cancelled Pass runs to the end of the time paid for. Questions about a charge go to WeldonPC.com through weldonpc.com/contact.

Fair use

Do not try to overload or break the site. Rate limits apply to new logbooks and saves.

Who runs it

Helmyard is made and run by WeldonPC.com.

Helmyard at cpmarina.net is an independent practice site. It is not affiliated with Cedar Point, its owner, Cedar Point Marina or any marina, and does not speak for them. Helmyard is a practice game with simplified physics: not boating instruction, not a course and not a certification.

The quoted passages on the Yard notes page belong to their publishers and are quoted briefly for study.
